John Martell, Managing Director
John Martell knows from experience what it takes to manage a successful team, as well as create and execute a comprehensive business plan. He brings more than 25 years of real-life business experience gained as a sales manager for end client and channel partner relationships in the financial and insurance industries to his clients. The breadth of John’s experience gives him an exceptional level of first-hand insight into the interpersonal, strategic and financial challenges facing organizations in today’s business environment.
As a facilitator, John conducts highly interactive workshops for organizations across all industries and a wide-range of audiences, from C-level executives to front-line team members, and even new employees fresh out of college.
Because of his in-depth client knowledge, John is frequently called upon to deliver addresses at annual global sales conferences in addition to facilitating workshops for sales, sales management and non-sales professionals, and providing executive and team coaching.
Prior to founding Sphere, John was Vice President of Marketing for Allianz, a leading integrated financial services provider, with approximately 75 million customers in 70 countries. He was responsible for management of the company’s nationwide independent sales channel, establishing a sustainable business model to maximize sales through strategic channel partners. He also served as National Liaison for Strategic Partner Relationships, expanding the company’s largest and most profitable US channel partner relationships under the Fireman’s Fund organization. In addition, John managed a national sales team responsible for more than 2,000 channel partner relationships nationwide.

Pat is an innovative leadership and sales consultant with 25+ years of experience partnering with global organizations to enhance their leadership, management, and sales performance. Pat’s exceptional communication and analytical skills, combined with her business acumen, enable her to quickly diagnose organizational challenges, design solutions to address those challenges, and help clients with successful implementations.
Pat’s consulting services and training design and delivery have helped hundreds of clients globally establish and enhance sales, service, and leadership/coaching cultures, generating significant increases in revenue, customer satisfaction, employee retention, and profitability.
Prior to founding Sphere, Pat served as Chief Design Officer for Richardson. Pat’s broad range of experience includes creating customized, experiential solutions for leadership development, process improvement, culture change, coaching, executive presence, sales, sales strategy, influence and persuasion, customer service, negotiations, and presentation skills across all industries. Her design expertise includes the full spectrum of instructor led, self-paced, case-study based, classroom-based, web-based, eLearning and blended solutions for executive management through entry level. Pat’s solutions have garnered national and global awards in the fields of sales leadership, organizational development, sales, and career and life planning. As a facilitator, Pat has delivered training for organizations across a wide-range of audiences, from C-level executives to front-line team members. As a recognized expert in sales, service, leadership, and instructional design and delivery across various platforms, Pat has been a frequent contributor to conferences and association events.
